That day will never come

I've just bought the Routledge book Colloquial Dutch. It says (p. ix):

Don't let yourself get discouraged. Success in foreign language learning comes from devotion and perseverance. The rewards at the end are worth it. You must make use of every opportunity to hear, read, write and speak it. Don't worry about making mistakes; if you wait until you can express yourself perfectly before ever opening your mouth, that day will never come -- fluency always precedes correctness.

Maybe something like that should be made compulsory in the curriculum of Galizan schools.
